For my map I decided to convey how students felt about various aspects of a Parsons students life. I gathered my information from students in my classes, in the elevator, and outside of school. The map is measured by the collective minutes I overheard of students conversations. The orange represents unhappy and the green represents happy. I found that most of the students were frustrated with the school. Through mapping I was able to convey emotions into a physical measured format.
I really enjoyed this map and thought it did a really good job of using color to its advantage. It was very readable and conveyed it's meaning quickly and in an easy visual way. It is also something that couldn't have been understood or visualized unless mapped.
ReplyDeleteI also found it very relatable and accurate as a fellow student at Parsons.
Great map!
