I started my map thinking about the interactions made when passing someone on the street. I thought about respect and etiquette and the ways that people are treated depending on their age. For example, I would hurriedly pass someone my own age or maybe accidentally bump them when passing whereas when I pass an elderly person I would be more respectful or if there is only room for one of us to pass I would let them go first. In my map a recorded the different ages of people I passed on the street at certain times in the day when going about my daily routine. Each color corresponds to an age group and my findings say what you would expect about what ages are out on the street. Young adults are out later, kids in the early morning and afternoon, elderly in the afternoon. The map also shows that I pass many people near my age on my daily routine.
I thought your map was very creative and showed how the dynamic of the same community can change throughout the day. The map measures time instead of place, and shows that stereotypes can be true, especially in the case of older generations.
